The small GEOgrenzGÄNGER

The small GEO GrenzGÄNGER is an experience for families and little hiking rats. The themed trail is lined with nine stations where you can find out exactly how the alpine landscape was created millions of years ago. At the quarry you will be explained which rocks are mined and how lime was burned. There is even a cave waiting to be explored. Halfway through the route we invite you to take a break in the forest adventure center.

The large GEOgrenzGÄNGER

The large GEO GrenzGÄNGER connects Schwangau in Bavaria with Pinswang in Tyrol. You cross the national border unnoticed in the wonderful mountain forest. Two worthwhile breaks are highly recommended on this day tour: a stop at the Füssen-Ziegelwies forest adventure center and a cooling swim in the beautifully situated Alpsee. A meteorite hit the earth here in 2002, an absolutely rare event! The mystery surrounding the origin and nature of the rock from space is described in detail at the impact site.
